“ This was my second time eating at Cowboy Restaurant in Elkin. I first visited last summer, and it was fantastic — the food was absolutely delicious! My brother-in-law is obsessed with this place. He talks about it so much you’d think he owns it (he doesn’t, but the way he hypes it up, you’d never know). This time, I ordered the filet, medium rare, with hush puppies, a baked potato, and a side salad. Everything was great, though they did bring the steak out medium well instead of medium rare. That was the only small miss, but honestly, it was still really good. The service here is fantastic — the staff is friendly, quick, and they really make you feel welcome. On top of that, the restaurant has a very cool country vibe. I love the laid-back atmosphere, and the rocking chairs outside are a perfect touch. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit, relax, and enjoy yourself. I can definitely see why my brother-in-law can’t get enough of it! ”
